IELD 2021 – 1st International Easy Language Day Conference, Germersheim, 27-28 May 2021

To keep the spirit of the Easy Language Day alive and do justice to the growing interest and awareness as well as to support international dialogue, discussion and exchange on the topic, we are excited to announce that the International Easy Language Day Conference (IELD ) 2021 will be hosted by the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz in Germersheim, Germany on and around this very noteworthy date. IELD 2021 will be held as a 100% virtual conference.

KLAARA 2020 – August 30-31, 2021

The multidisciplinary 2nd Conference on Easy-to-Read Language Research (KLAARA 2020) will take place on August 30-31, 2021 at University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland in Olten, Switzerland.

International Easy Language Day – 28th of May 2020

On the 28th of May 1988, the foundation documents of Inclusion Europe were signed. Based on this, participants of the “EASIT Multiplier Event – Towards a better understanding” with and without disabilities from 11 countries proposed May 28th as International Easy Language Day.
